• Brock's Performance BT Moto ECU Flash Suzuki Hayabusa (22-26)
  •
NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN CALIFORNIA

CLICK HERE TO VIEW HANDHELD DEVICE INSTRUCTIONS
(READ AND UNDERSTAND FULLY BEFORE PURCHASE)

The Suzuki Hayabusa has been a staple in the performance industry since its inception in 1999. When people think "fast bike", the Hayabusa is one of their first thoughts. With the introduction of the Gen 3 Hayabusa in 2022, Suzuki also introduced some restrictions. We decided to tackle this project due to customer demand and issues with current flash offerings on the market.

Months of R&D on the dyno and the street have helped us make the ideal flash solution for the new Hayabusa. From taking off from light to light, driving through traffic, or even racing at the track, the BT Moto difference can be felt. Power increased across the entire RPM range with restrictions removed, as well as smoother and better overall rideability makes our Stage 1 flash turn the Hayabusa into the bike you always wanted.

PLEASE NOTE (BT MOTO VELOCITY STACKS): With a completely stock Hayabusa and flashing, the Hayabusa yields small gains. Flash with our custom velocity stacks are massive. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND FLASHING IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR VELOCITY STACKS FOR SIGNIFICANT POWER GAINS.

Flash Design Options:

Increased drivability flash (retains OEM throttle mapping)

Drag flash (1-1 throttle mapping)

Drag Flash Note: Drag Throttle settings are designed to mimic non-throttle by wire throttle settings for precise throttle control at the drag strip. This means that rider input of 0-100% vs. RPM is not interrupted or altered by the ECU. While the Drag Flash can be used under any riding conditions, improper rider input can create undesirable vehicle operation in some cases.

Example: If the rider is in a higher gear (5th/6th etc..), at low speeds/RPM’s (20 MPH/2000 RPM, etc…) and decides to snap to WOT (Wide Open Throttle) instantly, the bike can bog, severely stumble or possibly even shut off completely – causing an unsafe riding condition. To avoid the situation in this example, select the proper gear (1st) to match the RPM and roll on the throttle as aggressively as desired. Please also note that Drag Throttle settings are separate/do not alter other SDMS rider settings regulated by the ECU, such as power, traction control, lift, engine braking, quick shifter, etc...

What’s Included in the BT Moto Stage 1 Flash:

Fan temp lowered to 194°F to keep bike out of compensation or correction tables, keeping power consistent and at its maximum output

Gear 1-6 ignition timing retard removed per mode keeping power consistent in all gears (exclusive to BT Moto)

Throttle 1-6 ETV limits removed per mode maximizing power

"A" mode optimized for 1:1 throttle and no restrictions (drag flash only)

Rev limiter adjusted for best performance and sustainable reliability

Deceleration fuel and ETV maps optimized for smoothness during riding

Ignition tables optimized per cylinder

Fueling tables optimized per cylinder and per gear (BT Moto exclusive)

Ignition dwell adjusted to optimize power

Allows OEM O2 sensor removal without trouble code

Top speed limiter removed correctly (without errors)

Quickshifter gets faster "kill" times (BT Moto exclusive)

BT Moto Stacks add 20whp WITHOUT TUNING (more with tuning)

What is a BT Moto Handheld Tuner and what are the benefits of having one?

Thoroughly tested by our own engineers, not just for its function but also durability. We purposefully dropped this thing about 100 times just to make sure if you accidentally dropped it, it would still be a usable device.

So why buy it when you can just send in your ECU for flashing and spend less? Let's see the breakdown:

No Downtime - No need to send in your ECU or remove it from your bike at all. You order the handheld, it get's delivered to you, you flash your bike. You never miss a day of riding and no effort removing the ECU.

Store Multiple Maps - When you send in your ECU, you only get one map. You might be thinking, "why would I need more than one map?". Storing multiple maps means you're able to flash for different fuels. If you're a serious track competitor, we can work with you to get you different mapping for different tracks. If, for example, you're add an exhaust to your stock bike, we can email you a file that takes the new exhaust into account with the changes you need to optimize your bike's new modifications.

Go Back to Stock Anytime - Not only can you store multiple race maps, you can also flash the original, stock file back into the bike at any time and for any reason.

DYNO PROVEN

The dyno results below (see gallery for dyno chart) are from a 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa tested at our facility in Massachusetts. This bike has no modifications (other than stipulated) and is on 93 octane pump gas. You can see gains through the entire RPM range from down low to up high. The deeper the bike gets into the RPM range, the more power you get. You can see the stacks make a lot of power up top with clearly no losses down low. Results tested same day, same dyno, back to back.

RED = Factory Tuning, 93 Pump Gas: 170whp / 103wtq

BLUE = BT Moto Stage 1, 93 Pump Gas, BT Moto Stacks: 187whp / 109wtq

GREEN = BT Moto Stage 1, VP Fuel, BT Moto Stacks: 197whp / 114wtq

The dyno results below (see gallery for dyno chart) are from a 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa tested at our facility in Massachusetts.

PLEASE NOTE: STAGE 2 IS WHAT WE CONSIDER THE MAXIMUM LIMIT FOR THE STOCK ENGINE AND CAN ONLY BE RUN ON 93 OCTANE PUMP GAS OR BETTER. DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU INTEND TO USE 91 PUMP GAS.

The 2020+ Kawasaki Z H2 is an interesting bike. It shares a lot of similarities with it's supercharged brother, the H2. It also has quite a few differences from the H2. Put simply, the Z H2 is the biggest departure from the H2 family we've seen yet. In the engine alone the Z H2 has more compression, a different cylinder head configuration, less boost, among other changes from the H2 and H2R.

When we see how other people tune the H2 engines, it's extremely aggressive and more like how you would tune a N/A liter bike. From a lot of data logging and testing we have found the limits of the motor to be quite different from its H2 counterpart. It's safe to say the joke that H2 motors aren't reliable isn't due to the engine itself, but rather how it's tuned. With the differences in the engine between the H2 and the Z H2, using the same tuning theory between the two can result in catastrophic engine failure.

Many H2 engine failures can be attributed to too much ignition timing and too much RPM in tuning. While the numbers will be lower than its H2 counterpart, the Z H2 with our tuning will be reliable and consistent. When you think about it, the Z H2 is a non-intercooled engine and must be tuned more delicately to ensure a reliable and repeatable result. Of course, customers with modifications such as an intercoolers or headwork can accommodate different tuning. Ultimately we are here to utilize this amazing engine but will not sacrifice reliability for an extra 10-20WHP. Reliable performance solutions is what we do and we spend many hours with a lot of data logging equipment to ensure that outcome.

Stage 2 goes a step further beyond Stage 1 with a higher RPM limiter and more aggressive tuning. As a result we found 15-20WHP! We achieved this by working with Brock Davidson from Brock’s Performance so we could squeeze every last HP we can get from the stock Z H2 engine and its unique configuration. This is a nothing left on the table tune and meant for those who are racing, monitoring the bike constantly, and checking fuel quality. Use Stage 1 for a no compromise option.

BT Moto Stage 2 Flash Details:

Ignition - Optimized to make the most power while still being safe and reliable.

Throttle Derestriction - Giving you the ability to utilize 100% of the throttle is paramount in track situations where you need all the power you can get on demand. The factory file has a "dead spot" on the top end that kills the bikes power curve when it should be making the most. This also means any kind of straight line acceleration also suffers. We remove these factory restrictions to ensure a smooth and predictable throttle, all the way to redline.

Lower Fan-On Temp - Let's face it, this bike rides a little on the hot side. To help not only the riders enjoyment but also keep the engine slightly cooler, we've lowered the fan-on temps.

Increased RPM Limiter - The stock RPM limiter is set to 12,700 RPM. We have been testing 13,650 RPM with zero negative side effects. We set the RPM limiter for 13,650 RPM in all gears. This helps you stay in the powerband longer and reduces the need to shift at the track.

Increased Top Speed Limiter - Removed so you can let the bike run free in any track environment.

Traction Control Switch - This one is really just an annoyance that we took care of after riding the bike. We noticed you couldn't switch the traction control system off while riding the bike. With our tuning you now can.

Quick Shifter – We all know how slow the QS is stock. Our tuning reduces “kill” times to make the quick shifter much faster than stock, and a better overall riding experience.

Race Features – Minor features unlocked for the purpose of track use.

Fuel Cut – Optimized for better limiter feel.

IMMO Off – Immobilizer off.

Mode Based Mapping – High power mode will be a pump gas map and medium power mode will have changed ignition and fuel mapping optimized for racing fuel.

Injector Balancing – More power found through injector balancing and throttle based fixes.

Ram Air – Changes to ram air mapping to maximize power and rideability.

Go Back to Stock Anytime - You can flash the original, stock file, back into the bike at any time and for any reason.

IMPORTANT! It is crucial you check your oil level carefully after each oil change. If you add too much oil (above factory recommended 'high') "windage" may occur. This is when the crankshaft, rotating at a high RPM will churn the oil to the point where small air particles are trapped in the oil. This is bad for many reasons. The main reason this is bad for the Z H2 is because the crankcase is under pressure and has a very high tendency to push this aerated oil to the airbox and supercharger. If the oil gets to the supercharger, it will start to feed the oil to the combustion chamber to burn. If this happens the octane rating of the fuel, now mixed with oil, lowers significantly and causes massive detonation. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOUR OIL IS AT A PROPER LEVEL BEFORE RIDING.

BT Moto Stage 1 Flash Details:

We have been testing 13,200 RPM with zero negative side effects. We set the RPM limiter for 13,200 RPM in all gears.

YOUR BIKE MUST HAVE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING ECU NUMBERS: (21175-1568, 21175-1586, 21175-1587, or 21175-1626). To find this number either look at the back of the ECU (in nose of bike), or call your local Kawasaki dealer and ask them what your ECU part number is based on your VIN number. The numbers we listed apply to all US bikes and a Euro version. If your bike has a different ECU number EMAIL BT MOTO BEFORE PURCHASE. We found the ECU numbers we listed are almost all 2020+ Z H2's. We will be working to add more and will update this page when we do.

The Gen 3 Suzuki Hayabusa uses extremely long and thin factory velocity stacks to slow down the airflow for immediate torque and daily riding response. Unfortunately, this kills the racing range of horsepower. With higher RPM the engines nods off soon and loses nearly 30HP as you rev it out to peak RPM. The BT Moto modified velocity stacks gives you almost built cylinder head power gains in an easy, bolt-on, plug-and-play package using factory hardware and air filter (optional).

WHY FOCUS ON TOP END POWER?

We decided on this design because it mimics what every part / aftermarket exhaust does to this platform, which is move the powerband to the right. The engine has tons of torque and displacement but absolutely just no legs as it’s revved out compared to its 1000cc brothers. The velocity stacks equalizes this and gives the Hayabusa the advantage it needed to be competitive again.

We studied the other velocity stacks on the market, and some were too tall, too short, or simply didn't fit the factory airbox.. some even came apart with mileage (yikes). Since the Hayabusa isn’t a big tune only power gainer, we knew we had to bring a hard part to complement our ECU flash.

We spent a lot of time building a design that captures more air at high rpm and high speed to fill the throttle bodies versus tuning it for low RPM cruising response. Our box filler design maintains a flow where no air gets trapped in corners of the airbox at speed to maximize the powerband under ram air pressure. The low rpm losses can be minimized with careful throttle and fuel tuning.

We highly recommend these with our flash as it’s the best bang for your buck modification for the platform.

BT Moto velocity stacks are developed and designed TO WORK WITH BT MOTO CUSTOM FLASHING. Flash adjustments include revised tuning for BT Moto custom velocity stacks. *VELOCITY STACKS DO NOT REQUIRE FLASH PURCHASE BUT IT IS RECOMMENDED FOR ADVERTISED RESULTS*

Custom velocity stack designed for YOUR airbox. No one size fits all approach.

OEM fitment and ability to go back to stock when ever you'd like.

Gain 20+HP (depending on bike and mods) at higher RPM's (with BT Moto Flash).

No power loss in low or midrange (with BT Moto Flash).

We've tested all the others on the market and this one has the best power hands down!

BT MOTO VELOCITY STACKS:

Custom composite with our logo etched into them, the BT Moto Velocity Stacks have been carefully engineered and designed to maximize power in the higher RPM range while not losing power in the low RPM range (with ECU flash).

Made for an OEM fit, the BT Moto velocity stacks bolt to the airbox to ensure tight fitment while also being easy to install. These are plug-and-play and require no additional modifications to your airbox to fit. Simply remove your factory velocity stacks and install.
What our customers say about Brock’s Super Stock Box

“It finally feels like a race bike instead of a nanny bike. The Super Stock Box stopped the random throttle cuts, and my 60-foot times dropped immediately.”

“Same rider, same track, same tune—just added the SSB and went from struggling to break into the 9s to running consistent 8-second passes.”

“The bike is so much more predictable off the line now. Every pass looks the same on the datalog, which makes tuning and racing way easier.”

“All the annoying warning lights are gone, the dash is clean, and the bike just drives forward. No more guessing when the electronics will step in.”

“For a Gen 3 Hayabusa set up for Super Stock, the SSB is a must-have. It’s the only way we could get the bike to run the numbers we needed without fighting the electronics.”

**NEW** – Revised firmware for use on the 2025-26 Hayabusa

The Brock’s Performance Super Stock Box (SSB) V2.2 is a fully reversible plug-and-play competition module for the 2022–2026 Gen 3 Hayabusa. It removes hidden ECU interventions from ABS, the IMU, and wheel speed sensors that still act even after ECU flashing or turning aids “off” in the dash, preventing power cuts during launches, burnouts, or wheel slip. Dash warnings such as the orange triangle, HILL!, and tip-over alerts are eliminated, and a complete delete with non-ABS brake lines can save about 5 lb.

SSB V2.2 offers two installation styles. In the Electronic Delete, unplug the ABS pump, IMU, and the appropriate wheel speed sensor – See Quick Reference Chart below - then install the plug-and-play harness under the right dash panel, which includes a connector for an optional kill switch. The Complete Delete additionally allows the physical removal of the ABS pump, IMU, rear sensor ring, and related hardware for maximum weight reduction and a cleaner setup.

Important, Please Read: Brock's Performance Gen 3 Hayabusa Super Stock Box Troubleshooting Guide and Q&A

The SSB V2.2 allows two delete options:

Electronic Only Delete: This option allows the ABS and IMU to physically remain intact on the bike, allowing a quick reversal back to fully functional, if desired.

Allows full electronic removal of factory ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), which disables advanced braking features (hill hold, brake pressure reduction in wheel skid and rear wheel lift conditions), power/throttle reduction due to wheelslip under heavy acceleration, as well as cruise control.
Note: Factory ABS brake block does not need to physically be removed; only unplugged from the wiring harness

Allows full electronic removal of the factory IMU (Internal Measurement Unit), which disables advanced power management features such as motion track traction control and lift control due to hard acceleration, including wheel lift.
Note: IMU does not need to physically be removed; only unplugged from the wiring harness

Allows full removal of rear speed sensor ring, sensor, and associated hardware
Note: Rear speed sensor ring does not need to physically be removed; only unplugged from the wiring harness

Complete Delete: Allows all electronic deletions listed above in addition to physical deletion of the above-listed components and their associated mounting hardware.

Serious straight-line enthusiasts often opt to remove the ABS pump and IMU entirely and install non-ABS brake lines to reduce weight. However, track day riders and corner carvers can easily revert these changes if they wish to enjoy the advanced rider controls originally installed by the manufacturer. The Brock’s Performance Engineering Team, in collaboration with industry CAN bus expert Greg “Boost By” Smith, has worked diligently to ensure that riders can have the best of both worlds.
