This harness allows you to use a standard OBD-II automotive scanner with your bike. Many later model bikes can no longer display error codes on their instrument panel, and the only way to check error codes and reset them is with a diagnostic scanner.
NOTE: Must be used along with a diagnostic tool like listed below and is purchased separately. ANY CAN enabled auto diagnostic scanner should work see example: Example $16 via Amazon
