Product Description
One of the most effective and affordable performance upgrades for the Gen 3 Suzuki Hayabusa, the Ultra-Light Billet Clutch Mod replaces the factory back-torque-limiting (“slipper”) clutch components with a proven traditional clutch configuration.
The result is dramatically improved clutch control—especially during aggressive dead-stop launches. Unlike the stock setup, which can produce a grab-and-jerk response, this conversion delivers smooth, predictable engagement that allows the rider to feed power efficiently to the rear tire.
As an added benefit, removing the slipper mechanism significantly reduces abnormal wear associated with hard launches. Slipper-equipped bikes are prone to excessive heat, frequent adjustments, accelerated plate wear, and even drivetrain damage under high-load conditions. This conversion minimizes those risks while improving consistency, durability, and overall performance—on the street or at the strip.
