The “RCS Corsa Corta” is a further evolution of the radial brake master cylinder concept, combining numerous innovations with the technical solutions implemented in the master cylinders used in MotoGP. The main innovation is the possibility of adapting the position of the braking bite point to achieve the perfect riding feeling, using a selector located on the top of the master cylinder.

Brembo RCS radial brake master cylinders allow the rider to choose between power or precision in relation to road conditions, the weather, personal preference for feel, and familiarity with the bike. This patented master cylinder, derived directly from the unit used in MotoGP, features an innovative adjustment system that allows the same master cylinder to cater to the many different requirements of even the most exacting customer.
Created specifically to bring MotoGP and Superbike technology to countless enthusiasts, the Brembo RCS radial master cylinder sets new standards for high-performance brake components in terms of technology and style.
Machined from billet, the new Brembo RCS CORSA CORTA RR (RCS CC RR) has been modified to make it lighter and even more similar to the racing versions. The hard oxidized finish, in titanium grey, ensures outstanding wear resistance and extremely low friction between moving parts. It comes in a darker color than the previous version, precisely because of the type of treatment, making it even more similar to the versions used in Moto2 and Moto3.
The new Brembo RCS CORSA CORTA RR continues in the tradition the RCS (Ratio Click System) system introduced 15 years ago on the Brembo 19RCS radial master cylinder, in addition to the recent Corsa Corta innovation of “bite point” adjustment that allows the rider to use a selector located on the top of the master cylinder to select normal, sport or racing, to achieve the perfect riding feeling to their preference.
The adjustable bite point with three settings (R-S-N) allows riders to fine-tune braking response:
- R (Race) – Minimal free play, maximum responsiveness for instant braking
- S (Sport) – Intermediate free play, perfect balance between modulation and response
- N (Normal) – Increased free play, smoother and more progressive braking
Brembo Radial RCS:
The RCS system consists of an adjuster that sets the brake lever pivot distance to either 18 or 20mm, for the perfect feedback between rider and machine: setting the pivot distance to 20mm makes the braking system more reactive and immediate, while a pivot distance of 18mm makes it more precisely controllable.
Changing between the two settings is extremely quick: simply adjust the master cylinder pivot distance by turning the adjuster on the front of the guide lever with the cam mechanism by 180° using a screwdriver (red indicates 18mm, black indicates 20mm). This changes braking power distribution without modifying the pure power of the system itself.
The piston, gaskets, and push rod of RCS master cylinders are exactly the same components as those in the master cylinders used by practically all MotoGP and SBK riders, and are manufactured to extremely fine tolerances to ensure very low friction.
The lever consists of two main components: the racing lever guide and the folding, billet lever itself.
