SLP found that it was necessary to add a small heat shield to the pipe that is about half the size of the stock heat shield. This heat shield was needed to bring the pipe temperature up quickly for maximum running consistency SLP tested and passed SAE J-2567 stationary sound test below 88 decibels Era 2014 Silencing Technology This pipe set will require additional fueling and SLP recommends the use of a DynoJet Power Commander V or PCFC Fuel Controller with SLP map Also recommended is a High FlowÖ Intake Kit and, if running in deep powder conditions, the SLP Powder ValvesÖ Some clutching changes recommended.
